700R4/4L60/4L60E/4L65E transmissions are from the same hydro family. Also there are 2 versions of the 4L60/4L60E transmissions. One is Gen3/4 based and the other is LS direct. If you get a Gen3/4 base 4L60/E you will still need the crank spacer. The 4L65E is LS based only. Year both trans are 99-2002.
